Purchasing

Despite our best efforts to describe the pieces and our detailed photos, we realize that when shopping online you may not love the piece in person.  Hence, our 3-day unconditional, no-questions-asked guarantee. If you let us know by the 3rd day from receipt of the item that you wish to return it, we will happily take it back and offer a 100% refund of the purchase price minus a 5% restocking fee due to non-refundable payment processor fees. This fee can be waived if you choose a no fee payment method such as Chase Bank transfer, Bank Wire, paper or e-check, or Zelle at the time of purchase. Contact us prior to purchase for payment instructions for your preferred no fee payment method. 

Please email Vanessa@Heritagejewelry.com to begin the return and/or exchange process.  You may return the item using your preferred carrier (please note that USPS only insures up to $5k) Refunds for items returned will occur on or before the 5th business day of the package being received in-house.  Please note that the pieces do have to be re-inspected for condition prior to the refund process.  If the original payment was made via credit card, it may take one full billing cycle for the credit to appear.  PayPal refunds typically happen within 2-3 business days.  If the original payment was made via wire, the refund will be sent via the same method or ACH.  We will need your account number, routing number, and the name on the account. A bank draft may also be sent instead, but this will take approx. 5-7 business days.  Items are returnable within our 3-day unconditional return window unless they've been altered or sized in any way, therefore making it a FINAL SALE.  This includes all layaway & custom orders which are considered FINAL SALES.   

Erroneous Pricing ~  On occasion, we experience errors and mistakes in prices and descriptions in our listing - we sincerely apologize for this. We reserve the right to cancel any order in the case of such errors, particularly when it's obvious that the listing is erroneous.   

We offer a 0% Interest Layaway Plan on any item over $500.  This has been both a popular and successful payment option with a 0% default rate. We are so happy that our customers have found this a great way to make their jewelry purchases affordable and also plan for reoccurring special occasions such as anniversaries. 

To reserve your item we require a 20% non-refundable deposit. Your item will then be marked as sale pending or placed in our backroom until the layaway is complete and mailed once the last payment has cleared. You may choose how your plan looks - if you want to split your total into 2 or 3 installments or use the maximum term to make a larger purchase possible it is up to you. One monthly payment is due by the same date monthly until the layaway in complete for a maximum of 6 additional months for a total of 7 months. Should you need to cancel your layaway for any reason your funds minus the non-refundable deposit will be refunded using the same method within 5 business days after your request to cancel has been received in writing by email to Vanessa@Heritagejewelry.com. If we do not receive a regularly scheduled payment as expected we will send a friendly reminder. If payments cease and there is no response to 3 reminder emails the balance in its entirety will be forfeited after 60 days and the item will be placed back in the shop for sale. 

Example - Ava Awesome Customer puts a ring on layaway with a purchase price of $3300 on the 12th. Her deposit of 20% is  $660.00 due that day to reserve her ring. The remaining balance of $2640 is divided by 6 = $440 which is the minimum amount due every month by the 12th. Ava is welcome to pay her balance anyway she wishes as long as it is at least monthly for at least $440 per month.
